Celebrate Black History Month with AJLJ Law

As we celebrate Black History Month, we are proud to share that our own Leslie, a partner at our firm, has been invited to be a panelist at a special event organized by the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Norman S. Minor Bar Association, and the Cuyahoga County Department of Law. The event, titled “Celebrating the Lived Experiences of Black Attorneys”, is a CLE and networking event that will take place on Thursday, February 29th, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.

Leslie is one of the four panelists who will share their insights and experiences as black attorneys in the legal profession. Over the years, Leslie has demonstrated excellence and leadership in various practice areas, including criminal defense, expungement, and DUI/OVI cases.

We are thrilled that Leslie will have the opportunity to showcase her knowledge and achievements, as well as to inspire and empower other diverse attorneys who aspire to succeed in the legal profession. We are also looking forward to hearing from the other panelists, who are all accomplished and respected attorneys in their respective fields. The panel discussion will be followed by a networking session, where attendees will have the chance to connect and mingle with other attorneys and legal professionals.

This event is a great way to celebrate and honor the contributions and achievements of black attorneys, as well as to foster a more inclusive and equitable legal profession. We encourage you to attend this event and support Leslie and the other panelists. To register for the event, please visit the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association website. We hope to see you there!
